Obama Lied Debate Benghazi Terrorist Comment

Romney
Romney (Photo credit: Talk Radio News Service)

It’s plain and simple, Obama said attack not “terror attack” in his speech. How dare a moderator interject her opinion into a debate like this an a national scale corroborating a presidential lie. That’s CNN leftist media all the way around. Not to mention there was no allowance for retort when Obama cited points of contention to Romney facts. Romney was not allowed further discussion.

Rose Garden Bengahzi speech transcript 9/12/2012″

“I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified America’s commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took their lives.

I have directed my Administration to provide all necessary resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe. While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.

On a personal note, Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution, he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi. As Ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya’s transition to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my Administration, and deeply saddened by this loss.

The brave Americans we lost represent the extraordinary service and sacrifices that our civilians make every day around the globe. As we stand united with their families, let us now redouble our own efforts to carry their work forward.”

There is no mention of the word terror in the speech and all we heard for three weeks was some nonsense about about a youtube video being the culprit of revolution, that had only been watched a handful of times. Are Americans that dumb? According to Obama we are!  Case and point Candy and Obama lied. I expected as much from Obama but not Moderator jumping to side with a candidate! What a joke! She should be thrown under the bus for that one! Candy Crowley should join the 8% unemployed!

Bill’s Barbecue Closing BBQ Gone For Good

For years Bill’s BBQ was the Richmond favorite barbecue headquarters. They offered unique services like car side service with the flash of your headlights but above all was the great customer service and barbecue to match. For decades we were blessed here in Richmond with the great sauce and coleslaw and desserts. Today they announced they are closing for good just in the middle of the biggest barbecue resurgence ever.

Hodges Scores Victorious Win in 98th District

Republican M. Keith Hodges wins the 98th Seat in the House of Delegates in the November 8, 2011 general election. The Urbanna resident decidedly defeated opponent Democrat Andy Shoukas in a clean and well planned run for the seat. The win was a result of the growing discontent and lack of trust Americans have in the Obama administration, Democrats and liberal policies that have run a muck for decades. The ire has trickled to the local level and the tide is shifting back to a solid conservative footing based on capitalistic beliefs. Hodges ran on traditional values and stayed true to the real Republican ideals that less government and regulation foster better economic times for everyone. With his pledge to create more jobs in his district that was all residents needed to hear to catapult him to victory.

Small Business Focus of Obama Jobs Speech

Tonight Obama set a new tone for the creation of jobs. This sudden awakening and more influential tone seem to set a new precedent of what will be in store in the next 14 months. After basically admitting his failure to create the necessary jobs for a recovery, tonight he seemed to finally realize that that creation rest mostly on small business and their hiring.

He proposed payroll cuts and a tax holiday for new hires but as a small business owner I will believe it when I see it. We need a Federal payroll tax cut alright but we need a year or more of tax amnesty for employers with businesses under 50 million in sales. That would be an ideal solution to put cash back in the coffers for business owners. A $1500 tax cut for families just doesn’t cut it and a full reform and a flat tax would be appropriate. In my opinion this is too little too late unless he actually enacts the real tax reform he mentions. We’ll see what he says tomorrow in the Richmond Presidential speech on the 9th.

See what I mean and the digital cards are printed on the front and the back with a cute pattern. Watts is my favorite. She has also completed a full line of wedding save the date cards, baby announcements and personal stationery. Believe it or not there is more to come!

Hurricane Preparation Checklist and Plan

Ok Richmond Va here is my basic hurricane preparation plan for hurricane Irene. It doesn’t look like Irene will go nearly as far West as Isabel did so with any luck we won’t have all the tree damage and power-line issues that we had for weeks after that hurricane.

It is advisable to have some type of plan and backup ready to go. If you have a generator make sure it is running and get all your cables and cords together for immediate use. I also recommend a chainsaw and make sure it runs and starts quickly. Have back up gas for both. I keep 4 or 5 gallons of gas for the generator and one for the saw.

I’ll never forget not having ice. So I fill my large Igloo cooler full of ice and a few beers and some gallons of water. These I can always take out if I need the space. I charge my solar lantern for a full day and make sue I have backup AA batteries and 6volt flashlight batteries. Have three or four flashlights. I get some extra bags of pretzels and chips for the kids and a bag of rice which is easy to cook and will run fine on my generator. You also might want to have a Coleman stove or hurricane oil lamps for longer power outages just in case. You can get all these at Walmart or Target cheap and don’t forget a few extra bottles of gas for the stove. If you like booze go ahead and get wine and spirits and something to do after dark like some good books or Dvds. A small type of pen light would be good for reading at night. Paper plates, cups and plastic utensils are nice since there is no running water. Any other ideas?

Keith Hodges Wins Primary 98th Disctrict

Keith Hodges has won the primary for the 98th district House of Delegates seat tonight.  Hodges was opposed by Catesby Jones, Sherwood Bowditch and Ken Gibson, all seeking the Republican nomination. Hodges had approximately 40% of vote, Bowditch 27%, Jones 16% and Gibson 15%.

Bowditch appeared to be a shoe-in with more contributions but Hodges forged a brilliant campaign and kept the heat on to win the primary.

Portico Richmond River Road Restaurant

This new Richmond restaurant looks really nice after spending what appears to be hundreds of thousands of dollars on renovating the old Edible Garden. There was a veil of secrecy during the construction so I hope to see fireworks on opening night. We will keep you posted on the particulars after opening. Please let the food be as good as it looks!
